JOHNSON, Vt. – The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer schedule was released for the 2019 season on Tuesday morning.
The women's soccer program will open the 2019 campaign at Minaert Field as they host Vermont Technical College on Saturday, August 31st. The Badgers will travel to Anna Maria College on Tuesday, September 3rdfor a non-conference matchup before facing Bay Path at Jay Peak on Saturday, September 7th.
The Badgers will return to action at Minaert Field versus SUNY Delhi on Saturday, September 14thfor the Active Minds Awareness Game to support youth mental health. The women's soccer team will host MCLA on Sunday, September 15th before traveling to Norwich University on Wednesday, September 18th.
The Badgers continue a stretch on the road at they travel to SUNY Canton on Sunday, September 22ndand to Pine Manor College on Saturday, September 28th. After two days of rest, the Badgers will return to action at home against NVU-Lyndon on Tuesday, October 1stas they look to secure a point toward the President's Cup Challenge. The women's soccer program will face University of Maine-Presque Isle at home on Saturday, October 5th.
Following a matchup with Paul Smith's College on Wednesday, October 9th, the Badgers will travel to Maine on Saturday and Sunday, October 12thand 13thto face Maine Maritime Academy and the terriers of Thomas College. After a week of rest, the Badgers conclude their travels at Husson University on Saturday, October 19th. The women's soccer program will host University of Maine-Farmington at Minaert Field for Senior Day on October 26thto conclude their 2019 campaign.
The North Atlantic Conference women's soccer championship is set for Sunday, November 10th.
