JOHNSON, Vt.The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer team were outplayed on Saturday afternoon as they faced SUNY Delhi in a North Atlantic Conference match. The Badgers fell to the Broncos by a score of 10-0.
SCORING
1st Half: The Broncos opened up the first half strong scoring in the second minute of action. They continued to put points on the board in the 6thminute when Micayla Slattery scored off an assist by Kelsey Innes. With the Badgers looking to attack Madelyn House put the only shot for the Badgers on goal but it was unsuccessful. Slattery recorded her second goal of the half in the 20thminute and three more Bronco goals gave SUNY Delhi a 6-0 lead headed into the half.
2nd Half: In the second half it was all the Bronco's as Innes recorded her first goal of the game in the 48thminute. DuBois recorded her second of the game in the 54thminute. Innes netted her second goal of the afternoon in the 65thminute and Samantha Acuna recorded a goal to capture the 10-0 win.
With the loss the Badgers move to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in North Atlantic Conference play.
