Women's Soccer Conclude 2019 Season on Senior Day

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer team faced off in a North Atlantic Conference match against the University of Maine Farmington in their final game of the season on Saturday afternoon. The Beavers strong performance resulted in a win by a score of 11-0.

SCORING

1st Half: The Beavers scored three goals in the first stint of action. Mckenna Brodeur recorded the first goal of the contest in the 19thminute of play. Haley Fletcher scored her first goal of the contest in the 40thminute off an assist from Brodeur. Fletcher continued to be impressive scoring her second goal of the game and final goal of the half in the 43rdminute.

 

2nd Half: Eight Beavers scored in the second half of action. Jordan Pelland and Jules Reed took the only Badger shots on goal in the second half but were unsuccessful. 

 

With the loss women's soccer concludes the year with a record of 0-14

 

 GOALKEEPERS

 

Aysha Hodgdon started the game in goal for the Badgers and recorded six saves in 65 minutes of action. Allison Irons and Courtney Currier both saw time in the second half.
