WATERVILLE, MAINE - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its weekly honors for women's tennis, naming Johnson State's Katherina Van Woerkom (Miami, Fla.) Player of the Week and Grace Page (Bennington, Vt.) Rookie of the Week.

Van Woerkom was victorious in singles and doubles this week as the Badgers defeated Lyndon 9-0 in non-conference action. The senior, along with partner Nicole Monick, defeated Lyndon's top pairing 8-3 in doubles. She then went on to win 6-1, 6-0 at first flight singles.

Page also helped lead the Badgers to the victory over Lyndon. The rookie won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 2 singles position. This is the second straight week Page has earned rookie of the week honors.

The Badgers have a trio of NEAC East matches this week, traveling to Colby-Sawyer on Tuesday, and then hosting Husson and Thomas on the weekend.
