JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University- Johnson women's tennis team fell to Castleton University 7-2 in their second match of the season on Sunday afternoon.
SINGLES
Freshman Elizabeth Chitambar (Newport, Vt.) had a strong performance Sunday afternoon. Chitamber swept her #3 singles matches. Chitambar won both her matches with a score of 6-0 and 6-0. Overall the Badgers were 1-5 on the day.
DOUBLES
Sam Kershner (Essex,Vt.) and Rebecca Simon (New Prague, MN) captured a win in doubles action giving Northern Vermont University-Johnson their second win of the afternoon.

The Badgers will travel to Northern Vermont University-Lyndon on Tuesday, September 11 for a 3:30pm match.
