BANGOR, ME.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's tennis team traveled to Husson University on Friday afternoon to close out North Atlantic Conference play for the 2021 season. 

In double actions, Natalie Tilton and Hannah Malinen earned the win against Mason Lores and Rebecca Simon on the one line, 8-1. In number two doubles, Molly Chicoine and Nicci Munroe defeated Kayla Hammond and Nicole Monney, 8-2. Marisa Brown and Jocelyn Bell earned the win against Annika Dyhrberg and Kristen Tirrito, 8-0, on the third line.

Lores earned the Badgers lone victory in number one singles play as she won 6-3, 6-4 over Tilton. The Eagles swept the remainder of play to earn the match win by a score of 8-1.

NVU-Johnson has earned their way into the NAC East Division Championship and will face the Eagles at the Apex Racket & Fitness in Portland, Maine on May 2nd.
