Johnson Runs at Eric Loeschner Invitational

FITCHBURG, MASS. – The Johnson State College men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Eric Loeschner Track & Field Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State University on Saturday afternoon.

For the women, Lily Denmeade (Quechee, Vt.) broke her own school record in the 400 meter with a time of 1:12.07. Alyssa August (Granby, Conn.) won her heat in the 100 meter with a time of 15.37. The women finished 17th as a team at the event.

On the men's side, the Badgers were led by Cameron Taylor (Washington, D.C.), who ran a time of 12.23 in the 100 meter, finishing 29th out of 68 competitors. Taylor followed that performance with a 24.55 time in the 200 meter, finishing 26th out of 59.

The Badgers will compete in the Albany Spring Classic, hosted by the University at Albany, on Saturday, April 22nd.
