WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Athletic Conference (NAC) has announced its weekly honors for women's track & field and Johnson's Ellery Kiefer (Wayland, Mass.) has been named the Rookie of the Week.
Kiefer started her collegiate career strong with two top-five finishes at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State. The rookie finished third in the javelin with a distance of 23.12 meters, and set a program record with a 9.08 meter throw in the shot put to finish fourth.
The Badgers will compete in the Panther Spring Invitational at Middlebury College on Saturday.
