TEMPE, AZ.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's triathlon team returned to the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship hosted by Arizona State University on Saturday morning.
After concluding the 2018 season with a fifth-place finish in the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship the Badgers returned in hopes to make an impact at this year's competition.
Ellery Kiefer and Jacqueline McCullough led the Badgers for the day. Kiefer was impressive finishing 14thoverall recording a time of 1:20:01 and McCullough rounded out the Badger finishers as she finished with an overall time of 1:26:38. Kiefer posted a time of 11:20 in the swim portion of the race and a 27:26 in the running portion. McCullough finished with a time of 13:32 in the swim portion and a 27:09 in the running portion.
The Badgers competed amongst the likes of North Central College, Trine University, Millikin University, Calvin University, Concordia, Transylvania Univ. and Milwaukee School of Engineering.
