NVU-Johnson Surges Past NVU-Lyndon

Lyndonville, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team were victorious over Northern Vermont University-Lyndon, winning the first three sets of the match on Wednesday night in Stannard Gymnasium.

 The Badgers won the first set in convincing fashion as they outscored NVU-Lyndon 25-6.  Nothing changed for the Badgers, their attack was too strong as they took set two and three in convincing fashion as they won by scores of 25-12 and 25-11. Both Brooke Scheier (Milford, NJ) and Nikola Knapova (Presov, Slovakia) had great efforts in the win. Scheier led the way with 13 kills while Knapova contributed 10. Julie Van Etten (Montrose,PA) delivered 24 assists for the Badgers, while Knapova posted nine digs which was a match best.

 

With the win tonight Head Coach Keven John is tied for second place in all time coaching victories at Northern Vermont University-Johnson.
