Johnson Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team took the first three sets over Castleton University on Tuesday evening earning their fifth win of the season.
The Badgers took the first set by a score of 25-19. Junior Nikola Knapova (Presov, Slovakia) was impressive throughout the entire match for the Badgers. Knapova recorded 13 kills for the match with a kill percentage of .867. The Badgers stayed consistent in the second set as they won by a score of 25-18. Julie Van Etten (Montrose, PA) continued to set for the Badgers and recorded 23 assists for the match. The Badgers took a big lead in the third set and controlled play throughout the entire set. They closed the match out with a score of 25-15.
With the win tonight women's volleyball has improved to 5-6 overall.
