JOHNSON,Vt.- The Northern Vermont University- Johnson women's volleyball team fell to the University of Maine Fort Kent by a score of 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The afternoon match against the UMaine-Fort Kent Bengals was a special match for Senior Emily Marshall (Malone, NY) as it was her last home match in Carter Gym. The Badgers competed well against the Bengals throughout the first set but eventually lost by a score of 25-21. Over the course of the next two sets the Badgers struggled to find a rhythm and ended up losing by scores of 25-8 and 25-9. Julie Van Etten (Montrose, PA) had 11 assists on the day. Nikola Knapova (Presov, Slovakia) contributed 7 kills and 7 digs.
