CANTON, N.Y.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team faced off against both Northern Vermont University-Lyndon and SUNY Canton in a tri-match on Saturday. The Badgers were victorious in their first match of the day beating NVU-Lyndon by a score of 3-0 and ended up falling to SUNY Canton by a score of 3-0 later in the afternoon.
Match 2 NVU-Johnson vs. SUNY Canton
The Badgers struggled in the second match of the day. In the first set the Badgers lost by a score of 25-12. SUNY Canton controlled play and also won sets two and three by scores of 25-16 and 25-15. Knapova had 7 kills for the Badgers and Van Etten added 12 assists. Tatum Lafrance carried the SUNY Canton Kangaroos with 8 kills and Peyton Robinson added 26 assists.
