Knapova Named to NAC First Team All-Conference

JOHNSON, Vt.- Nikola Knapova (Presov, Slovakia) of the Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team was selected to the North Atlantic Conference First Team All-Confernce on Thursday morning. 

Nikola Knapova (Presov, Slovakia) helped lead the Badgers to a program best 10 wins. First Team All-Conference player Nikola Knapova led the NAC with 1.01 service aces per set and is in the top 2 for kills and kills per set. Over the course of the season Knapova recorded 229 kills, 3.42 kills per set, 68 service aces and 194 digs. She was named North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week once this season (9/16/18). 

Julie Van Etten (Montrose, PA) was named to the Sportsmanship Team for the 2018 season. The NAC Women's Volleyball Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the volleyball culture and environment, and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity.
