JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team has received another commitment for the 2019 season. 

 Ashley Emery comes to the Badgers from Glenwood Springs High School in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Following her high school career, middle blocker and right-side Ashley Emery has completed the necessary paperwork to continue her career at NCAA Division III Northern Vermont University-Johnson in the fall.

Outside of playing her career at Glenwood Springs High School, Emery was also a member of the United Volleyball Club of the Rockies and the United 18 National Team. Over her senior year for Glenwood Springs High School Ashley hit .225 with 163 kills on 426 attempts. In 79 sets she tallied 52 blocks, 45 aces, and 87 digs. Ashley connected on 87.9% of her serves and earned an ace on 14.5% of her serves.

Emery joins Lauren Havill as an incoming member of the NVU-Johnson women's volleyball team.
