WATERVILLE, ME- Freshman Porsche Johnson has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this season announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
In a 1-2 week for the Badgers, Johnson recorded 33.5 points, nine digs, seven blocks, two assists, and 26 kills with a .286 hitting percentage. She ignited the team and led the Badgers to a 3-2 victory over Salem State with a career-high 18 kills on a .361 hitting percentage. She also racked up seven digs, three solo blocks, 22 points, one assist and one service ace in the match.
Johnson and the Badgers return to action this Wednesday when they face NVU-Lyndon at Carter Gym. The match will begin at 7:00pm.
