WATERVILLE, ME.-Ashley Emery has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Emery was a top performer for the Badgers in a 1-1 week. In a 3-0 conference win over UMaine-Presque Isle, Emery recorded eight kills on 14 attacks for a .429 hitting percentage. She was also strong defensively and recorded eight digs and two blocks in the win. Emery recorded a team-high 10 kills on 19 attacks for a .526 hitting percentage, along with eight digs and three blocks, in a non-conference loss to UMaine-Fort Kent.
Emery and the Badgers return to action Saturday, October 26 in a tri-match against Maine Maritime Academy and Husson University.
