CASTINE, ME.-Lauren Havill was named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament Team this past weekend announced by the conference office earlier today.
Seven student athletes were named to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the event on Sunday, November 11th. Maine Maritime Academy Senior Sydney Adams (Trumbull, Conn.) earned MVP honors, while teammates sophomore Rachel Melampy (Marshfield, Mass.) and senior Maria Perez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) were also named to the team. SUNY Canton, the tournament runner-up, placed seniors Jenna Roat (Penfield, N.Y.) and Melissa McMaster (Pittsfield, N.Y.) on the team. Senior Erica Prindle (Kingston, N.Y.) represented SUNY Delhi, and junior Lauren Havill (Gainesville, Va.) represented Northern Vermont-Johnson, both semifinalist teams.
Havill led the Badgers with a match-high 16 kills, and also tallied five digs and a service ace in the semifinals. She is credited with 17 points in the match. The 2019 Second Team All-Conference player led the league with 52 kills in NAC matches during the regular season.
