WESTFIELD, Mass. - Sophomore women's cross country runner Jill Porter (Springvale, Maine/Sanford) represented Johnson State College at the 2012 NCAA Division III New England Croos Country Championships on Saturday hosted by Westfield State University. Porter came in 228th in the 367 runner field completing the 6K course in a time of 26:02.69.
Amherst College's Keri Lambert won the race in a time of 20:48.94 and in a comfortable margin over Middlebury College's Addie Tousley who finished in 21:07.13. Williams College's Kaleigh Kenny was third with a time of 21:29.91.
MIT took the team championship with a score of 58 topping Williams' 75 and Middlebury's 89.
