Johnson State College took fifth place in the First Annual Terrier Classic Invitational women's cross country race hosted by Thomas College on Saturday afternoon. Colby-Sawyer College sprinted to a first place finish.

New England College placed second while Husson came in third,  followed by University of Maine at Farmington, Johnson State College, Maine Maritime Academy, and Thomas College. 

Jill Porter lead the pack with an 11th place finish and a finish time of 23:30. Teammates Sierra Williams and Shaylyn Boufard were second and third for Johnson. 

The Badgers will host the JSC Invitational next Saturday the 21st at 10:15am.
