Johnson State women's cross country finished in fourth place in the Johnson State College Invitational with a total score of 62. The Badgers were led by two top 10 finishers in Jill Porter (22:53), who finished in third place and Sierra Williams, who finished seventh with a time of 24:44.
Filling out the Badgers' top five was Alyssa August (27:48), Shelby DavisLane (27:51) and Jackie Caron (28:49).
SUNY Canton took first place honors with Megan Mydosh as their leader, whose 22:36 time was second best for the race.
The Badgers are back in action next Saturday at Castleton State College for the VT State Cross Country Championships.
