Johnson State women's cross country finished 9th out of 12 teams in the Runnin' Monks Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's (Maine). The Badgers scored 256 over all while overall winner Husson earned a 61 to take first place honors.
Jill Porter led the Badgers with her finish time of 23:31 earning her 46th place out of 130 runners. Chrissy Larrabee of Husson took first place running the 5k course in 20:22.
The Badgers will use the week to prepare for the Green Mountain Invitational on October 19th.
