Badgers Place 7th at Green Mountain Invitational

St. Michael's College women's cross-country team took the first five finishing spots to run away with the Green Mountain College just Invitational. Castleton State College placed second, while SUNY Cobleskill took third spot to round out the top three teams. The Johnson State women's team finished in 7th place.

The race was won by St. Michael's Chloe Boutelle who paced the field in a time of 18:52. Due to the restructured course, Boutelle's time set a new course record. Teammate's Lindy Heffernan and Colleen Gilliatt followed Boutelle with times of 19:14 and 19:19, respectively.  Rounding out the top five finishers was Allie Gratton who covered the 5K course in a time of 19:34 and and Daniela Czark who came in fifth in a time of 20:19.

Alyssa August finished in first for the Badgers running the new course in 24:30. She was closely followed by teammates Jackie Caron (24:47) and Shelby DavisLane (24:48).

The Badgers will use the next few weeks to recover before the North Atlantic Conference Championships on November 3rd.
