Johnson Places 6th at State Meet

The Johnson State College women's cross country team placed 6th overall in the Vermont State Cross Country meet Saturday morning.

The women's race was won by Chloe Boutelle of Saint Michael's College, in a course record time of 20:18.  Middlebury College collected 2nd through 5th place to earn the overall team title with 21 points.  Olivia Artaiz finished 2nd in 20:27, with Sarah Guth (20:40) grabbing 3rd place over team mate Robin Vincent (20:41).

For Johnson, first year Brynn Cairns placed first finishing the race in 25:50.
