The Johnson State women's cross country team placed 5th at the Castleton Invite on the campus of Castleton University this weekend.

Brynn Cairns earned 9^th place with a finish time of 23:58 while teammatesChelby Nystrom(27:59)  and Sarah Sodaro(28:11)  finished in 28^th and 29^th place respectively.

The Badgers will return to action this weekend as they host the Johnson State Invitationalwomen's race, which begins at 10:30.
