WATERVILLE, MAINE - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its weekly honors for women's cross country and Johnson State's Emily McCarthy (Farmington, Maine) has been named Rookie of the Week.

McCarthy finished fourth overall out of 55 racers and first among freshmen in the Runnin' Monks Invitational on Saturday. The rookie finished with a time of 22:02.6, leading the Badgers to a fourth place team finish. 

The Badgers will host the NAC Cross Country Championship on October 29^th.
