JOHNSON, Vt.-The 2019 Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's cross-country schedule was released on Tuesday morning.
As the Badgers look to improve from their 2018 season they will compete in a variety of new events across New England. The women's program will open up the 2019 season at home as they will host the Badger Invitational on Saturday, August 31 after not hosting a meet in 2018.
The team will then travel a week later on September 7 and compete in the invitational hosted by Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. The Badgers will travel for two meets out of Vermont following the NVU Lyndon Invitational, on Saturday, September 21 the team will head to Concord, New Hampshire and compete in the Lynx Invitational. The Badgers will round out their out of state events for the month of September with their annual trip to Oqunquit, Maine where they will compete in the Lobster Dash.
On Friday, September 27 the team will head back to the Green Mountain State to compete in the VT State Meet hosted by Castleton University.
In the month of October, the Badgers will compete in three new events. On Saturday, October 5 the team will travel to SUNY Canton and compete in the Kangaroo Invitational and then round out the regular season competition with events at Southern Maine University and the Suffolk University Invitational.
On Saturday, November 2 the Badgers will look to make an impact at the North Atlantic Conference Championship hosted by Northern Vermont University-Lyndon.
