Men’s Basketball Edges Vermont State Johnson, 69-65
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team collected its first North Atlantic Conference victory Friday evening, defeating Vermont State Johnson 69-65 at the Lahue Athletic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Eastern Nazarene sported a double-digit lead through 20 minutes of play, 40-30.
- Despite Vermont State Johnson owning a 35-29 advantage in second-half scoring, the Lions held on to capture their first conference win of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Martinie Kamga (Yaounde, Cameroon) notched his xxx double-double of the year, scoring 16 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
- Darrell Hardge (Hialeah, Fla.) finished with 15 points and three steals.
- Khabri Davis (Peoria, Ariz.) netted eight points while Carlos Reynoso (Clifton, N.J.) added seven points and seven boards off the bench.
- Eastern Nazarene concluded the contest with a field-goal percentage of 40.3% while draining 9-of-30 three-point attempts.
- Vermont State Johnson shot 41% from the floor and 42.1% from long distance.
- Nazir Gossette paced the Badgers with 22 points off the bench while Darone Frierson tallied 18 points and Travis Baker chipped in with 11 points.
