WATERVILLE, ME.-The North Atlantic Conference announced on Thursday afternoon that Floyd Davis has been named the 2020 NAC Rookie of the Year.

Floyd Davis (Riverdale, Georgia) is the 2020 North Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year. An energizer for the Badgers throughout the season, Davis was selected as the NAC Rookie of the Week four times for his well-rounded performance. 

Against conference opponents, Davis collected 130 rebounds (53 offensive, 77 defensive) for an average of 9.3 rebounds per game, the second-best average in the league. He also amassed 27 assists, 14 steals, nine blocks, and averaged 9.8 points per game on 55.7 percent shooting, the second-best percentage in the conference. On the season, the rookie ranked second overall with 93 offensive rebounds, 221 total rebounds, and 8.5 rebounds per game. He also ranked second with 55.6 percent shooting, while tallying 263 points (10.1 points per game), 36 steals, and 12 blocks total.

Davis is the first men's basketball student-athlete to earn Rookie of the Year honors since the program has been an NCAA member.
