JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College Athletic Department today released the 2018 men's and women's Track and Field schedule. The Badgers will participate in five events, including the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship.

Third-year head coach Shawn Woods will lead the Badgers as they begin their season at the Southern New Hampshire Invitational on March 31^st. Johnson starts the month of April with the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State on the 7^th. They will then participate in the Panther Spring Invitational at Middlebury on the 14^th. The Badgers will end their regular season at the Albany Spring Classic on the 21^st. Johnson will compete North Atlantic Conference Championship which will be hosted by Colby-Sawyer College on Sunday the 29^th.

Qualifying athletes will compete in the NCAA Division III New England Regionals hosted by MIT on May 5^th.

Johnson finished 7^th for the men and 6^th for the women at the 2017 NAC Championship, with Brynn Cairns becoming the first NAC Champion, individual or team, in Johnson State College history by winning the 3000 Meter Steeplechase.
