JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's cross-country team announced their schedule for the 2019 season on Wednesday morning. 

This season the Badgers will compete in a variety of new events across New England and will host their own event for the first time since 2017.

The men's program opens up the 2019 campaign at home as they will host the Badger Invitational on Saturday, August 31. A week later the team heads to Northern Vermont University-Lyndon for the NVU-Lyndon Invitational. The Badgers will then head to Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday, September 14 where they will compete in the Lynx Invitational hosted by New Hampshire Technical Institute. 

Following the Lynx Invitational, the Badgers will compete in the Lobster Dash held in Ogunquit, Maine. After competing in two events outside of Vermont the team will return to race in the VT State Meet hosted by Castleton University on Friday, September 27.

In the month of October, the Badgers will compete in three new events. On Saturday, October 5 the team will travel to SUNY Canton and compete in the Kangaroo Invitational and then round out the regular season competition with events at Southern Maine University and the Suffolk University Invitational. 

On Saturday, November 2 the Badgers will look to make an impact in the North Atlantic Conference Championship hosted by NVU-Lyndon.
