Brynn Cairns Honored at NAC Championship Ring and Banner Ceremony

JOHNSON, Vt. – Johnson women's track & field athlete Brynn Cairns was honored on Friday night for her North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Individual Championship in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the NAC Championship last April. The win by Cairns was the first NAC Championship, individual or team, in Johnson State College history.

During the ceremony, President Elaine Collins presented Cairns with a championship ring, commemorating her accomplishment. Following the ring presentation, Director of Athletics and Recreation Jamey Ventura unveiled a new championship banner that will recognize Johnson's individual conference champions, with Cairns accomplishment as its first entry.

Cairns and the Badgers track & field teams will begin their season on Saturday, March 31 at the Southern New Hampshire University Spring Invitational.
