JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's triathlon program announced their schedule for the 2019 season on Thursday morning.
Coming off an impressive inaugural season, the Badgers will compete in a similar schedule from the previous year. To open up the season the team will travel to Armonk, New York on Sunday, September 1stand compete in the Windmill Triathlon.
A few weeks later on Sunday, September 15 the Badgers will travel to the Women's Collegiate Triathlon West Regional Qualifier located in Belle Fourche Reservoir, South Dakota to defend their title as they emerged as NCAA Division III West Regional Champions in Longmont, Colorado in 2018.
The following week the team will return to New England and compete in the Duxbury Triathlon located in Duxbury, Massachusetts on Sunday, September 22nd.
The Badgers will conclude the 2019 season in Tempe, Arizona where they will compete in the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships host by Arizona State University on Saturday, November 16th.
