DUXBURY, MA- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's triathlon team competed in the Duxbury Triathlon on Sunday morning.
It was an impressive performance for both Ellery Kiefer and Jacqueline McCullough as the two top runners posted personal best overall times. Kiefer posted a first-place finish in her division and 37thoverall. Kiefer recorded a total time of 1:15:05 which is a personal best. An impressive showing in the swim with a time of 9:28 paced Kier as she recorded a 37:04 time in the bike and a time of 25:17 in the run.
McCullough recorded a personal best time igniting her to a second-place finish in her division and a 110 finish overall. McCullough concluded the race in a time of 1:22:42. She finished the swimming portion of the race in 11:52 and the bike portion in a time of 41:24.

Women's triathlon will return back to action on Saturday, November 16 when they travel to Tempe, Arizona to compete in the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship.
