Molly Johnson Commits to Women's Triathlon

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's triathlon program and head coach Kim Loeffler earned their first commitment for the 2020 triathlon season earlier this week. 

Molly Johnson a native of Exeter, New Hampshire has signed the necessary paperwork and has announced to commitment to Northern Vermont University-Johnson and the women's triathlon program for the 2020 season. When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Molly plans to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. 

"I chose NVU-Johnson because of the campus and the community", said Johnson. "The first time I visited I immediately fell in love with the homey feeling of the campus. I am very excited to attend NVU-Johnson and be part of an NCAA team". 

In 2015and 2017 Johnson received the coaches award for the Gould Academy ski-team. Molly Johnson is a student-athlete at Exeter High School and in 2016 received the Scholar Athlete Award for the Exeter High School ski team and received the same award for soccer in 2019. "The award is a special award. This means I maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the quarter of the sport". 

Molly will make an immediate impact and add depth to the Badgers program that has only been active for two seasons. "All of the experiences I have had with the Badger student-athletes have been great and I cannot wait to be part of the family". 

The NVU-Johnson women's triathlon program will announce additional commitments for the 2020 season in the near future.
