Head Coach Keven John Named North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year

WATERVILLE, ME.- The North Atlantic Conference announced on Friday afternoon that Head Women's Volleyball Coach Keven John was named the 2019 North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year. 

Keven John of Northern Vermont University-Johnson is the 2019 North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year. In just his second year with the Badgers, John led the team to their first NAC postseason berth and the most wins in program history. 

The Badgers head into the NAC Championship tournament this weekend with the #3 seed and a record of 13-11 (4-2 NAC). Coach John placed three players on the All-Conference teams (one First Team, two Second Team), and developed the 2019 NAC Rookie of the Year, Porsche Johnson. The Badgers tallied 174 kills (9.16 k/s), 161 assists (8.47 a/s), 93 service aces (4.89 sa/s), 204 digs (10.74 d/s), and 16 total blocks (0.84 b/s) across six conference matches.

John remains the most winningest coach in program history with 23 wins and had the best season in program history throughout the 2019 season winning 13 matches.
