Keven John enters his second season at the helm of the NVU-Johnson Men's and Women's Volleyball program. The 2019 season was a record breaking season for the Badgers. Under John's guidance the women's program finished the 2019 season with the first playoff apperance in program history while also guiding the team to the most wins in a single season (13) and earning North Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. Johnson defended their title and recorded 3.85 aces per set to remain the 2019-2020 Division III Women's Volleyball statistical champion for aces per set under John.

In his first season at the helm of the Badgers, John was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year after leading the Badgers to their first 10-win season in program history. Johnson secured the title of 2018-2019 Division III Women's Volleyball statistical champion for Aces per set with an average of 3.75 per set. Junior Nikola Knapova earned NAC First Team All-Conference honors under John's leadership, leading the conference with 1.01 Service Aces per set and in the top 2 for Kills and Kills per set. 

John came to Johnson following four seasons as head women's volleyball coach at NCAA Division II Western State Colorado University. John was named RMAC Coach of the Year in 2015, the same year he led the program to its first conference tournament appearance in 12 years. In his time with the Mountaineers, John coached eight players to earn all-conference honors.  

Prior to his time at Western State Colorado, John was head women's volleyball coach at NJCAA Division I Snow College in Utah for three seasons.  While at Snow, John led the Badgers to #8 in the NJCAA National Rankings and 13 wins against top 20 teams. He coached 11 All-Conference players, three All-Americans, and eight Academic All-Americans. John previously spent time as an assistant coach at Marietta College and Colorado Northwestern Community College, and also founded and led Black Forest Volleyball Club from 1997 to 2005.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy in 2010.
