Jeff Arnold is excited to embark on his first season with the Johnson softball program as a coach. Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, Jeff has deep roots in the local community. He developed a passion for sports early on and was a standout three-sport athlete at Burlington High School.

After graduating from high school, Jeff continued his baseball journey by playing a year of Semi-Pro Baseball. He then made the decision to serve his country and enlisted in the US Air Force, where he not only played competitively but also became an instructor at local baseball camps, sharing his knowledge and love for the game.

Following his time in the Air Force, Jeff began his coaching career at Winooski High School. He served as the head JV Coach and assistant Varsity coach, imparting his skills and experience to young athletes. Jeff has been involved with the softball scene in Vermont for over 12 years, dedicating his time and expertise to developing players.

Throughout his coaching journey, Jeff has held various positions within the Vermont softball community. He has coached in the South Burlington Little League, worked with the South Burlington All Stars, and contributed to the coaching staff at South Burlington Middle School. Prior to joining the Johnson softball program, Jeff was a coach for the Vermont Storm Fastpitch Softball Club. In this role, he managed teams at the 16U and 18U levels, including both summer and fall showcase teams.

While Jeff is excited to be part of the Johnson softball program, he continues to stay involved with the Vermont Storm, where he currently works with the 14U team. Jeff's dedication to coaching and player development is unwavering, and he brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the game to his role with Johnson. He is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for his players, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field.
