Trevis Buckhanon is a passionate and dedicated basketball coach with an impressive background in the sport. Currently entering his third year with the Badgers basketball program, he holds the dual role of Forwards developmental coach. Under his guidance during the 22-23 season, he played a pivotal role in the growth and success of key players, Raymond Baka and Yeskin Walker-Williams. Raymond Baka led the conference in field goal percentage and ranked 2nd in rebounding, while Yeskin Walker-Williams was 10th in the conference in scoring and 4th in rebounding. Trevis's coaching expertise has been instrumental in developing these athletes' skills and contributing to their on-court achievements.

Originally hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Trevis Buckhanon is a proud graduate of Chowan University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Throughout his four years as a member of the Hawks basketball team, he showcased his skills and played a key role in the team's historic success. During his sophomore year, he was part of the team that achieved an all-time school record of 19-9. The following season, Trevis's leadership on and off the court contributed to the Hawks' strong 18-9 finish, nearly matching their previous impressive record.

Before joining the Badgers basketball program, Trevis spent two years at St. Andrews University in North Carolina, where he continued to pursue his passion for basketball. During that time, he also took on the role of Forwards Developmental coach, working closely with talented players like Myron Williams. Trevis played a significant role in their growth and development, and his coaching contributions were evident through players' achievements such as Myron Williams' 1,200 point scorer and All-Conference Honorable Mention with the Knights.

In addition to his dedication to basketball, Trevis is currently pursuing his Masters Degree, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is actively involved in the Vermont community, dedicating his time to teaching, mentoring, and volunteering within the local public school system. Trevis's passion for community engagement and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others reflect his character as a well-rounded individual.

Trevis Buckhanon is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated staff and talented students at Vermont State University Johnson. His goal is to make a positive impact on the basketball program and the university community as a whole, striving for excellence both on and off the court.
