Women’s Basketball Tops Vermont State Johnson 86-52 on Senior Day
QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team rattled off its fourth-straight win, downing Vermont State Johnson 86-52 Sunday afternoon at the Lahue Athletic Center on Senior Day.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions outscored the Badgers 20-12 in the opening frame.
- Eastern Nazarene poured in 31 points while limiting Vermont State Johnson to four points in the second quarter to own a 51-16 advantage at the half.
- The visitors edged the home side 21-20 in third-period but the Lions sported a 71-37 lead heading to the final period.
- Both teams chalked up 15 points in the fourth quarter as Eastern Nazarene wrapped up its fourth win in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anaira Ayala (Guaynabo, P.R.) set a career-high in points for the second-straight game, pouring in a game-best 27 points off the bench.
- Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) tallied 16 points to go with five steals and four assists.
- Molly Smith (Hudson, N.H.) notched 10 points, five assists, and four steals while Reina Lindhorst (Ulster Park, N.Y.) scored a career-high 10 points.
- Eastern Nazarene shot 37.8% from the floor and 30% from long distance.
- Vermont State Johnson managed a field-goal percentage of 29.9% while connecting on 2-of-9 from behind the arc.
- Gabby Wardwell posted a double-double with 20 rebounds and 19 points to lead the Badgers offensively while Matt House added 13 points.
SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION:
Prior to the start of the game, the Eastern Nazarene women's basketball team recognized seniors Mya Landry (Derry, New Hampshire) and Delaney Walker (Nampa, Idaho) along with student assistant coach Amanda Brooks.
