Johnson, VT - Raymond Baka has been named North Atlantic Conference Basketball's Player of the Week. The junior forward had an impressive week, averaging 25 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 blocks over a three-game span, posting double-doubles in each. Shooting 58% for the week, Baka made 12 of 17 shots with 25 points and 15 rebounds against Maine-Augusta. Baka was instrumental in a 90-85 win over Maine-Presque Isle, scoring a season-high 34 points, with 17 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

To this point in the season, Baka leads the program averaging 18.1 points per game and 12 rebounds per game. He also leads the program in blocks per game, averaging one per contest.

This was Baka's second time receiving this recognition this season. The men's Badgers return to action tonight when they travel to Middlebury College for a 6 pm tipoff.
