Men's Volleyball Announces the Commitment of Zach Anderson

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball program and Head Coach Keven John earned an additional commitment for the 2022 season on Thursday afternoon. 

Zach Anderson a native of Sisters, Oregon and a student-athlete at Sisters High School has signed the necessary paperwork and has made a commitment to Northern Vermont University-Johnson and the men's volleyball program. Anderson will arrive on campus in the fall of 2021. 

"Volleyball was a big reason why I chose NVU-Johnson. It has always been a dream of mine to play a collegiate sport. I also chose NVU-Johnson because of the location and the academics." 

When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Anderson plans to pursue a degree in business administration with a minor in psychology. 

As a student-athlete at Sisters High School Anderson was an All-Conference Honorable Mention Selection in the sport of basketball during his junior season and continued to bring in All-Conference honors his senior season earning First Team All-Conference. 

"I am super excited to join the Badger family. So far, I have only spoken to a few of the members of the men's volleyball program, but every single one of the guys have been welcoming and extremely helpful," said Anderson. "I can't wait to play for Coach John, through the recruitment process I've gotten to know him, and he seems like a coach that I will respond well to and I believe I can excel with his style of coaching. 

Anderson is an immediate impact commitment and the first commitment for the men's volleyball program for the 2022 campaign. Head Coach Keven John plans to announce additional commitments in the near future for the 2022 season.
