DUDLEY, Mass- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball team traveled to Nichols College on Wednesday evening to compete in a New England Collegiate Conference match. The Bison edged the Badgers 3-0 on the evening. 

Iquwl Shakur was the top contributor for the Badgers earning eight kills. Ryan Willette added five kills and an ace. Jason Madrid led the Badgers in assists with 14, nine digs and also recorded and block. Wyatt Moberg contributed a team high 10 digs. 

The Badgers started hot but eventually dropped the first set by score of 25-16 and the second set by a score of 25-18. In the third and final set it was the Bison who remained in control and closed the contest winning in straight sets. 

With the loss men's volleyball drops to 0-3 on the season and 0-3 in NECC play. The Badgers will be back in action this Friday when they host Eastern Nazarene College.
