Men's Volleyball Drops Two at No.8 Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball team traveled to nationally ranked No.8 Endicott College on Saturday afternoon for two conference matches. The Badgers lost 3-0 and 3-0, with the Gulls taking match one by scores of 25-9, 25-9, and 25-13, and match two by scores of 25-14, 25-10, and 25-13.

Match One

Ryan Willette earned three kills and Iquwl Shakur added two kills for the Badgers. Wyatt Moberg was the team leader in digs registering nine and Madrid added four assists. 

Erich Roman paced Endicott offensively with a match-high 11 kills on 19 swings.Bryn Lipton also added six kills, while Gabe Felicetti notched five kills as the top performers for Endicott. 

Match Two

Willette, Phelps and Shakur registered two kills each for the Badgers. Madrid added seven assists and Moberg registered nine digs. 

Ian Smith led the Gulls with six kills, with three other Gulls recording four kills apiece. 

 

With the two losses the Badgers move to 0-8 overall and 0-7 in the NECC.
