Martin Paul Commits to Badger Men's Volleyball

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball team and Head Coach Keven John has announced an additional commitment for the 2021-2022 season.

Martin Paul a native of Kalskag, Alaska and a student-athlete at George Morgan Sr High School has signed the necessary paperwork and will arrive to Northern Vermont University-Johnson in the fall of 2021. 

When arrived at NVU-Johnson Paul plans to pursue a degree in biology. "I chose NVU-Johnson because I am excited for the adventure to travel across the country and visit a new place," said Paul. "The athletic community at NVU-Johnson also seems like a very supportive athletic community and I am excited for the opportunity." 

During his time at George Morgan Sr High School 6-feet 4-inch Martin Paul was a three-time recipient of the State Player of the Game Award, was named to the All-Tournament team for the state of Alaska and was a regional All-Tournament selection three times. He has also earned NSHSS Honors, and UAA Honors. 

"I am excited to play for Coach John," said Paul. "I am so grateful that I get to continue to play the sport that I love. I am ready to work hard and improve my game under his guidance. I am also very thrilled to join the Badger family."

Head Coach Keven John plans to announce additional commitments for the 2022 campaign in the near future.
