The Northern Vermont University-Johnson Athletic Department welcomes Dongping Fang to their Athletic Staff as an Athletic Administrator responsible for the Johnson campus intramural and recreations department and will manage the SHAPE fitness center in additional to his role as Head Coach for the Badgers Men's and Women's Volleyball programs.

Coach Fang comes to the Badgers with a resume full of experiences at every level of volleyball.  From an international player, to an NCAA Division 1 assistant for 16 years with Murray St, Head Coaching stops at NCAA Division 2 and NCAA Division 3 institutions the Badgers are optimistic the experienced Coach Fang will assist the Badgers in taking the next step within the men's and women's programs over the years to come.

"Coach Fang is extremely passionate about volleyball and in teaching the game of volleyball", say Director of Athletics Greg Eckman.  "During the interview process the search committee had the opportunity to hear from Coach Fang multiple time in different setting, one thing that was consistent through all our meeting was his excitement for coaching and his love for the game."

Coach Fang as expressed his excitement in joining the NVU-Johnson Badgers Athletic Department and looks forward to helping the department and the volleyball team increase our competitive standing within the conference and the region.  "Coach Fang is a tireless worker and a student of the game." Director Eckman explains.  "In his short time on campus Coach Fang has already made an immediate impact.  Our athletes are excited to work with him and to learn from his years of education and volleyball experience."
