Softball Earns First Commitment for 2022 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson softball program and first year Head Coach Anya Adams announced earlier this week a commitment for the 2022 season.

Nia Hall has signed the necessary paperwork and has made her commitment to Northern Vermont University-Johnson for the fall of 2021. Hall, a native of Spotsylvania, Virginia and a student-athlete at Massaponax High School plans to pursue a degree in biology when arrived at NVU-Johnson.

"I chose NVU-Johnson because I love how it is more of a hands on learning experience. The biology program really caught my eye during my college search and I was intrigued because of the outdoor laboratories. I like how NVU-Johnson is a small college and I cannot wait to get started there," said Hall.

Hall is the first commitment for Coach Adams for the 2022 season and she will make an immediate impact for the Badgers. "Nia is fluid in the middle infield with great footwork," said Adams. "Offensively her hands are lightning fast, she has the ability to hit for power and is quick on the base path.  To top it off her positive attitude is contagious and will help us continue to build our positive team culture!"

Nia Hall is excited for the opportunity to compete at the next level and for Coach Adams. "I am very excited to play for Coach Adams I love her energy. And she has made this process so easy and stress free. I am happy to officially be a Badger and I'm sure the girls will all be so nice and sweet. I am so excited for the upcoming season!"

Nia Hall is the first commitment for the NVU-Johnson softball program and Head Coach Anya Adams plans to announce additional commitments in the near future.
