"Alexis is a serious threat on the mound as well as in the box and I'm thrilled she chose our program," said Adams. "She is an intense competitor who will make a big impact in our conference.   In addition, she has a positive attitude and is sure to be a leader on the field in many ways. I can't wait to have her on the field with us."

Fleischer will make an immediate impact for the Badgers and will provide depth on the mound in 2022. Fleischer is also very excited about the opportunity to compete for Coach Adams. "I feel like Coach Adams has a great understanding of the game and can help me grow over time and I am excited to work with her. Everyone I spoke with from NVU-Johnson was very helpful and supportive. They've made me feel like family before even arriving to campus."
