Softball Adds Kylie Olay for 2022 Campaign

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson softball program and Head Coach Anya Adams have earned an additional commitment for the 2022 season.

Kylie Olay a native of Sloatsburg, New York has signed the necessary paperwork and will arrive at NVU-Johnson in the fall of 2021. Olay has been a student-athlete at Suffern Senior High School where she has earned honor roll for the past four years. Olay has also earned multiple medals for catching and will look to make an immediate impact for the Badgers in 2022.

"I chose NVU-Johnson because of the softball program and for the academic offerings," said Olay. Olay plans to pursue a degree in Psychology and is very excited to have the opportunity to compete for Coach Adams on the field.

"I'm so excited to get the opportunity to play for Coach Adams. I really like the environment that she has begun to create at NVU-Johnson and I believe she has a role for me right away."

"Kylie is a force to be reckoned with from behind the plate, at third, and at second" said Adams. "She's fluid, with excellent mechanics both defensively and offensively. She hits for power to all sides of the field and brings a fire for the game that will be welcomed. I cannot wait to have Kylie in a Badger uniform."

Kylie Olay is the ninth commitment for Coach Adams and the Badgers this spring. Coach Adams and the softball program plan to announce additional commitments in the near future.
