UMF Overcomes Badges in NAC Doubleheader

FARMINGTON, ME.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson softball program traveled to Maine Farmington for a NAC doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.

 

Game One: UMF 7, NVU-Johnson 4

 

Olivia Paradis went 2-3 at the plate for the Beavers with three RBIs while Kayleigh Oberg went 1-3 with one RBI.

 

Laura Dattilio went 3-4 for the Badgers while Savannah Dufrense went 2-4 with two runs.

Mia Blackwell went 2-3 with an RBI as Annika Dyhrberg went 1-4 with two RBI.

Callie Hammer and Makayla Wilson each added a hit while Broghan Gagnon went 1-3 with an RBI.

 

Gagnon threw seven innings for the Beavers, giving up 10 hits and three earned runs.

 

Game Two: UMF 8, NVU-Johnson 0

 

Broghan Gagnon went 1-3 at the plate with two RBI as Chelsea Davis went 3-3 with one RBI and two runs.

 

Leah Stevens and Olivia Paradis each added RBI.

 

Maddelyn Souza threw five innings of one-hit ball for the Beavers with five strikeouts.

 

Nicole Mooney threw four innings for the Badgers, giving up five hits and five earned runs while striking out two.

 

Mooney also got the lone hit for the Badgers.
